Sponsorship of the Guildford Pancake Races – 2017
The races are organised by the Charlotteville Jubilee Trust (Charity No. 1103768) and raise money for two charities:
Guildford is unusual in that its mayors have their own long-established charity, the Mayor of Guildford's Local Distress Fund. This charity makes grants to individuals and families throughout the borough who are experiencing financial difficulties.
Most grants are now in response to cases referred by an official agency such as;
- Citizen's Advice Bureau
- Community Health
- Social Services”
The Orchard Dementia Centre is this year’s charity choice of Eagle Radio. The Centre provides care and stimulation for those suffering with Alzheimer's and Dementia. This is done by treating each client with respect and giving them the dignity that is often lacking in society once they have been diagnosed”
In order to make as much as we can for these two charities we need financial support for the races and we therefor have a number pf opportunities for sponsors this year:

£250 + Prize suitable for a hard working mascot.

Mascot Race given name of your choice.
Up to 4 banners on the crowd barriers.

Highlight of the day it’s the one the crowds stay for.
